TLE 2016-17 Open Competition

To close off the TLE 2016-17 series, we will be hosting a final on-site competition: the TLE Open. All students across the GTA are invited to attend. ##Contest Rules The contest will consist of 3 divisions: **Junior**, **Senior**, and Extra Spicy. Each division will have 6 problems, and problems will be shared in between divisions. Students may decide on the division they wish to compete in on the day of the contest. However, any student who has participated in the Canadian Computing Olympiad or a similar level computing competition must compete in the Extra Spicy division. - The **Junior** division will have a difficulty roughly the same as the CCC Junior. - The **Senior** division will have a difficulty roughly the same as the CCC Senior and will be slightly easier than a typical TLE round. - The Extra Spicy division will have a difficulty on the level of CCO and IOI. The contest is **3 hours long** and students are allowed to participate **individually or in pairs**. Calculators, written materials, and online documentation are permitted. Partial credit in the form of subtasks will be awarded for more difficult problems. Contestants will receive full feedback – there will not be system testing. A contest mirror will also be available on the same day for those who cannot compete on-site; the mirror will contain all problems from all divisions and participants will be given 3 hours and 30 minutes to complete the problems. **All contests will be unrated.** ##Schedule
