The distance formula for two points $A$ ~A~ and $B$ ~B~ is $\sqrt{(A_x-B_x)^2 + (A_y-B_y)^2}$ ~\sqrt{(A_x-B_x)^2 + (A_y-B_y)^2}~. Squaring this, we obtain $(A_x-B_x)^2 + (A_y-B_y)^2$ ~(A_x-B_x)^2 + (A_y-B_y)^2~. Thus the answer is the minimum value of this across all possible pairings of Alice, Bob, and Charlie.
