RTE '16 Junior Division
Welcome to RHHS's very first online programming contest: The RHHS Technological Extravaganza!
The RTE consists of 3 questions of roughly increasing difficulty, each worth 100 points.
You will have 1.5 hours to complete the contest. After the contest window begins, you may begin at any time. Once you enter the contest, your personal timer will start counting down and you will be able to submit until 1.5 hours from when you started, or until the hard deadline (11 PM EST of June 7th), whichever comes first.
For students of RHHS, prizes will be given to the top scores!
Notes:
- Partial points are available for some questions by solving smaller subtasks of the problem.
- All I/O will be done from
stdin
andstdout
, meaning read in from the console and print out to the console. Do not try to read or write files. - All problems are guaranteed to be solvable in Java and C++.
This contest is the junior division, intended for less experienced programmers in grades 9-11.
