when we look into the horizon, it's all just a blur. we pretend to know how things are going. we pretend to know why we're doing what we're doing. and it works out, so long there is the occasional sign to point you in the right direction. but sometimes you go too far. looking around, in all directions you see nothing but gray mist. you search for anything to point you in the right direction. sometimes it turns out you were only a few steps away from the trail you had been following. other times it takes quite a bit of wandering around.
